Vikingbuilt Limited is an extremely passionate locally owned and operated Christchurch business that services the greater part of Canterbury with; “Natural light from above.”
The owner of Vikingbuilt, Per Agerlund Jacobsen is born in Denmark, a Trade Qualified Carpenter since 2003, Licensed Building Practitioner since 2013, and holds a VELUX Installer Certification, since 2010.
Every single year, hundreds of customers engage Vikingbuilt to carry out their daylighting projects, and renovations, which puts us in a very good position to continue offering genuine and professional advice with any Skylight and Sun Tunnel project, or renovation. Our knowledge to all things daylighting are comprehensive, and very thorough.
We have been supplying VELUX Products in Christchurch since 2010, and Installing VELUX products globally since 1998. We have chosen to only work with the VELUX brand, as our belief is that VELUX is by far the superior brand of Skylights & Sun Tunnels on the market.
With a portfolio of more than 200 builders, Vikingbuilt is the preferred VELUX Installer in the greater Canterbury region.
VELUX have been creating better living environments globally for more than 75 years. VELUX products are BRANZ approved, hold Codemark Certificates, and comply with Australian Skylight Standard (AS4285).
We offer comprehensive supply and install packages, and throughout our trading, we have built solid contacts to Plasters, Painters, Electrician, and Plumbers. Trades, which are often a part of making a skylight install a reality.
We want our customers to feel that they are well looked after, as soon as the initial contact has been made, and that they are given professional advice throughout the project.
Further from VELUX Installations, we also offer supply and install packages of The Dolle Attic Ladder systems, and general building work, renovations, decking, timber floor installations, and outdoor sheds.
Together with his wife of more than 14 years; Louise Jacobsen, they reside in Cashmere, Christchurch with their two kids, and dog. In their spare time, they love exploring the great outdoors New Zealand has to offer, mountain bike, and hunt to provide wild food for their family.
